POULTRY MARKET
BREEDERS
During this stage roosters and hens are together to produce fertile eggs In this stage the following factors have to be monitored and managed:
01
Climate Control
The breeders need optimal climate conditions to avoid humid environments during the 40 weeks that this phase usually lasts. Most of humidity is deposited on the ground and this is where the breeders spend most of their time. Maximum comfort is essential to produce as many fertile eggs as possible.
02
Feeding & Weights
The amount of feed and the schedule to feed the birds is very important for a proper egg production; no stress should be placed on the birds when accessing to the feed and we must provide the right amount at any time according to your feeding programme. The feeding of the roosters also has its own particular dosing and timing process.
On the other hand, a continuous and automatic weighing of the birds gives us a day by day assessment that the birds are feeding correctly and have an appropriate weight.
03
Safety
Poultry must have security systems to warn farmers and vets of alarms such as temperature, gases, electricity failure, etc. Also it is important to monitor deviations in the energy efficiency of their rearing.
